As a wardrobe styling service, we get asked so many questions about how everything works. From pricing to style tips, the questions are endless. So, we decided to answer a few of those FAQ's that have come our way.

What type of services do you offer?

There are so many types of stylists and services that can be offered through styling. SophisticatedChic specifically offer personal styling services to emerging entrepreneurs and small business owners through private shopping sessions, closet cleanses, virtual styling, photo shoot styling and video shoot styling. Our overall goal is to enhance help the client determine their unique signature style and overall personal brand.

During our private sessions, we educate you on what silhouettes and colors best fit your body type and skin tone, advise you on fabric types and shop within your budget. This helps you to know exactly what to look for when you decide to shop on your own. We also inform you on how specific items can be worn. We are really big on building a solid wardrobe that includes staple pieces that can be worn in a variety of ways. We then use those pieces to style multiple looks for you.

What are your prices?

With styling, there isn't really a set price for each service. Each client we work with is very different and has a variety of needs so, we tailor the price to fit you. We do have average prices for services that are a flat rate while other services are an hourly rate. If you're interested in knowing our prices, please send us an email!

How does the process work?

The process is quite simple. We first schedule a free 15 minute consultation with you to determine your wardrobe needs and why you need our help. From there, we suggest the best styling service for you with a brief explanation as to why. When you decide to move forward, a confirmation email will be sent with your next steps.

For all other styling services, the invoice will be sent prior to the completion of that service.

Do you style men?

Yes, of course! Guys tend to have a lot of trouble with fit and are often stuck with clothes that are either too tight or too short in length. Most of those guys are in between sizes and don't really know how to handle it. When working with guys, we like to compare and contrast the difference between right and wrong. No, there isn't necessarily a wrong way in fashion but there is always a better way of how something can be worn.

Being able to show you how one small detail can take your look from one level to the next is very important to us.

Who is your target market?

Our target market are emerging entrepreneurs and small business owners who are eager to invest in their personal brand. We will use our styling expertise to help determine your signature style and how you can be portrayed to your audience in the best way possible.

Where are you located? Do you travel?

We are currently located in our home town, Baltimore, Maryland. And yes, we are always willing to travel to surrounding areas to meet you. If you aren't located in one of the surrounding areas listed below, we will work with you virtually.
