It's that time of year again, where I recap some of my favorite styles/trends that just so happened to have been seen everywhere on everyone. These are just a few of my favorites that I'm sure will roll over right into the new year because they're just that good.

Keep reading for a few reoccurring trends of 2017!

Tassel earrings

I was and still am very obsessed with this trend. A statement that started off as embellishments and ornaments in the ancient Roman times has turned into the ultimate accessory that can take your outfit from one level to the next. I recently purchased a few pairs for just $2 at Walmart. You know I stacked up!

These fun little accessories will continue to be one of my favorites through out winter and well into spring 2018.

Here are a few of my favorites. Click the links below to shop!

Bell Sleeves

Who doesn't love a statement sleeve? The easiest way to look fashion forward with just a simple pair of jeans. The bell sleeve has been seen on tops, hoodies and even dresses. But if you're going to rock bell sleeves, you've got to pair them with the right accessories. Try wearing a jacket with cropped sleeves or arm candy around your wrist but on the outside of the shirt for the perfect amount of added flare.

Braids

Beyonce started it all with her visual album, "Lemonade" while her younger sister, Solange followed suit with the "Cranes in the Sky video showing off all the beautiful, braided do's. Both of these albums released in 2016 and moved right into 2017 as one of the most popular natural styles of the year. This protective style was for any girl looking to give her hair a break from heat and/or chemicals. Natural hair has been the wave but these eclectic styles don't compare to your simple, everyday wash-n-go. The summer time was the best time to rock a braided do since natural hair and humidity aren't such good friends.

Here are a few of my favorite braided styles:

Patent leather

It ain't for everybody!

Patent leather was one of my favorite trends of this year. Even though it really can only be worn in the fall/winter, this trend was seen all throughout the year. From patent leather shoes to pants, this style can be dressed up or down no matter the occasion.

Athleisurewear wear

Everybody wants to be comfy but nobody wants to look bummy. This year was full of track pants and cropped hoodies but instead of sneakers, heels were the shoe of choice. The ultimate combo for the sporty, yet chic girl on the go. Cozy and cute has always been the motto.
