Lately, I've really been focusing on my business and how I can improve. This year has really shown me how much I've grown as a person and as a business owner. I've juggled about 4 different jobs and have been blessed to have grabbed a little bit of knowledge from each one to use towards my personal business. I eventually want to quit all my jobs and just work for myself as the Founder and CEO of SophisticatedChic, but it's been a struggle!

I've learned to never quit my job(s) prematurely though. I'm sure nobody wants to be that small business who failed after 2 years because they didn't properly prepare themselves for the transition. It's really a lot of planning that has to be done before anybody decides to make that big step into entrepreneurship.
As hard as it is to believe, success takes time guys. With social media and everything else that comes along with running a small business nowadays, everyone is tricked into believing that the life of an entrepreneur is a breeze; that you just wake up one day with a shit ton of clients and thousands of dollars in the bank. Now, if you continue to work hard, this will eventually happen but definitely not over night.

As an entrepreneur, the most challenging part for me is staying focused. Between work, life and everything else happening, it can be easy for you to loose sight of the big picture; your why. Why exactly are you working all these long hours and barely getting enough sleep? Why are you spending so much time reaching out to people who don't even care to respond to your emails? Why are you traveling miles away from home to attend networking events?
I've dealt with so many weird situations since I've launched my business which has led me to create the SoChic Survival Guide.

An interactive workbook that helps you to hone in on your "why" and focus not just on your business but on you. It's important to know what you want before you provide a product or a service to anyone else.
This guide allows you to identify your soft and hard skills, helps you to craft your personal brand persona and maps out your business goals all while speaking positive affirmations into your daily routine.
What it includes:
A 31-day social media calendar
Marketing survival tips
Personal branding survival tips
Productivity survival tips
Self-care survival tips
