A few email threads and a phone call later, I ended up here!

I had never heard of BMORE Lifestyle TV until just recently. My boss, Ella Pritsker is a local fashion designer and was a guest on the show back in January. No, I didn't get a chance to tag along but she gave us the inside scoop.

As a wardrobe stylist, I often see an opportunity in everyone.
"She'd look amazing in this. I'd love to style her!", I'd say to myself.
When all of sudden, something clicked! I decided to take a leap of faith and reach out to Chardelle Moore, one of the hosts.
Thanks to social media, I was able to easily send her an email and introduce myself and my brand. I literally did the most with researching how to send the perfect email without saying too much. I wanted to say just the right thing to let her know who I was and why I was reaching out.
I ended up contacting her about two months later. I was extremely nervous about being rejected and tried my best to avoid it at all costs. The email sat in my drafts for weeks before I finally built up the courage to send it. I didn't get a response back until a couple of weeks later and that was after two follow up emails. Yall know I was stressing OUT. Every negative thing under the sun was going through my head.
"Why haven't I heard back from her"?
"She probably doesn't want to work with me".
"I don't want to keep bugging her".
Instead of thinking she was busy or just overwhelmed with emails, I assumed the worst, per usual. I try not to get my hopes up about certain things to avoid being let down but that's all a part of the journey, right? I guess 🤷🏽♀️
When Chardelle and I were finally able to talk over the phone, I apologized for all the back to back emails. I had felt like I annoyed her at this point but somehow she felt differently. She told me that if I wouldn't have followed up, she would have overlooked my email because she gets so many of them daily. After conversing for about 30 minutes, we had finalized a date and time for me to join her on set. I had officially secured the bag 😎
She ended our conversation with "closed mouths don't get fed". Since then, that really stuck with me. No one will ever know who you are or what you do unless you tell them.
She loved every look and so did everyone else. This was my first time on set but definitely not my last!
Her Looks

Moon River Cut-Off Top: Royaltique
WAYF Wakefield Pants: Royaltique
White Pumps: Steve Madden (similar)
Antique Statement Necklace: Sky Mints Luxe Fashion Jewelry

PIT Floral Dress: Royaltique
Giata Over The Knee Boots: DSW
Encrusted Gold Hoops: Skymints Luxe Fashion Jewelry
I chose these looks for Chardelle because they were simple yet very chic. I didn't want to dress her in anything too bold because I didn't want her to over power Christina, the co-host. Their looks actually ended up pairing very well together. Since it's spring, my goal was to keep it fresh and clean with different shades of greens and floral.
