Spring is finally here and you know what that means?! WARM WEATHER.
A change in season calls for fresh, new styles and trends. So I stopped by to fill you in on my top 5 essentials for the spring that will make your wardrobe one to remember.
The Essentials
Frayed Denim

Frayed denim has been trending since the winter season and is still standing strong! This effortless detail adds just enough flare to any pair of "plain jane" skinny jeans. You can either go full on frayed to the point where it almost looks like fringe or keep it cute and simple, similar to the pair worn above.
Daytime Look:
Tee shirt and sneakers
Leather jacket and pointed toe flats
Night Out Look:
Silk blouse and heels
Light knit sweater with funky ankle boots
Pastel Colored Shoes

Pastel colors are the new neutrals! If you thought you couldn't wear a lavender sneaker with any outfit, you thought wrong. To make it a little easier, try matching your shoes to your bag or your jacket.
Daytime Look:
Monochrome look with any color pastel sneaker
Joggers and a bomber jacket
Night Out Look:
A midi dress and the perfect pastel pump
A Statement Jacket

If you were browsing for a new spring jacket, I'm sure a light blue leather wouldn't be the first one you'd grab. Believe it or not, a statement jacket like this one can easily be worn multiple ways. If you're having trouble, try finding a statement jacket that has more than one color in it. That way, it's a little easier for you to pair it with a bunch of different items.
Daytime Look:
Simple white button up and jeans
Cargo pants and an oversize tee shirt
Night Out Look:
LBD and a simple black pump
Sexy jumpsuit
A Denim Skirt

Season after season, denim has been and always will be a wardrobe essential. Denim skirts on the other hand are back and even better than ever. Whether you're going for an edgy or a sweet look, denim skirts are now deemed appropriate.
Daytime Look:
An oversize button up with a suede bootie
Light weight sweater layered with a trench
Nigh Out Look:
A denim top and matching skirt (denim on denim)
A fun printed top and a melatic block heel
Fun Accessories

I'm not really big on accessories but I've learned that a fun necklace or a dainty clutch can definitely complete a look. The silver jewelry and accessories worn for this outfit accentuated the silver details on the jacket. When deciding between what color metals to wear, I usually feed off of the hardware on my shoes, outerwear or handbag. Even though some people like to mix metals, I try my best to avoid doing so for a cleaner, more put together ensemble.
Daytime Look:
Bouquet necklace
Silver studs
Watch
Night Out Look:
Tassel earrings
Choker
Bangles
